OUR COMMERCIAL AREAS > THE MARSEILLE REPUBLIQUE PROJECT

Marseille is short of 50,000m² of commercial space in the city centre*
Planning for
commercial premises in Marseille République will focus on sectors that are
insufficiently represented in the city centre e.g. household and personal
goods, recreation amenities, cultural venues and restaurants.
The merchandising plan
will combine a number of existing stores and services with new national and
international names or names already present elsewhere in Marseille and the
urban district. One of them, the Monoprix
Group, has already taken
up the offer of premises in the street (4,100m²).
These new stores will
be especially designed for the 3,000 households with a high level of purchasing
power who move into this district (all the housing is scheduled for completion
between now and 2008), for the 25,000 people
working in the
Euroméditerranée sector, for tourists, for cruise ship passengers (1 million
expected in 2010) and, of course, for the general population of Marseille.

The advantages of selecting a Marseille Republique outlet
The Marseille République
project aims to create 30,000m² of commercial
areas for immediate entry : 20,000m² on the ground
floor and 10,000m² on the mezzanine floor.
Commercial areas in
Marseille République have been divided into more than 200 modular lots with
areas of between 37 and 2,300m², available
solely on a rental basis. Marseille République has decided to retain ownership
of all the commercial property to maintain overall consistency in Rue de la
République on a long-term basis.
Choosing commercial premises in Marseille
République means benefiting from a number of outstanding advantages e.g.
commercial premises with no entry fee or key money to pay and the assurance of
very swiftly increasing your turnover. |
